Lauren Ash-Morgan is the Founding Co-Artistic Director of the upcoming theater company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) from 2014 until 2019. She had been an actor as well as a board member for SSC since 2011. Also, she was the producer of costumes/sets, composer/musician and text coach for SSC when she was its Artistic Director. Although she usually led from within the group of actors, in her final year she was able to make her debut as director (and the lighting design) with the SSC's King Lear.
